Olympic Mania hits Baker Street

Here at Publicis to get into the spirit of the London 2012 Olympics we decided to host an inter-agency competition. Each team was allocated a country to support and follow throughout the Olympics, with a hamper of goodies the prize for the best decorated hub.

After a slow start, it was great to see so many people get involved and make such an effort. Some of the hubs were particularly inventive and came up with very interesting ways of backing their given countries. Here are a few snapshots……

Mexico

Spain

Andy Bird, our Executive Creative Director, had a tough decision to make when it came to the judging. It was a close call between Mexico and North Korea, but Mexico’s constant Tweeting swung the decision. A special mention must also go to India who came third, thanks to their “Baltiolympics”, which involved throwing naan bread from a distance into curry. Hazel was the Bolt of the Balti winning bronze, silver and double gold.

Thanks to everyone who took part and let’s keep the support up throughout the Paralympics!
