Publicis Chemistry Wins Gatwick Advertising Account

Posted on July 19, 2012

Leading integrated agency Publicis Chemistry has won the creative account for Gatwick Airport.  This follows a competitive pitch process based on delivering a major new advertising brief to help support its ambition to become London’s airport of choice.

Gatwick Airport continues to introduce sought after retail and restaurant brands, delivering quality food and shopping choices for its passengers, helping to position Gatwick as a great shopping and eating destination.

Gatwick’s summer retail campaign, which aims to challenge perceptions by showcasing the great range of products that are available, will run until the end of summer 2012.

Gatwick’s Head of Marketing Andy Lewis said: “Publicis Chemistry really stood out for their experience in both travel and retail industries. For us it’s about doing all we can to significantly enhance the passenger journey to, through and from the airport. Gatwick has an impressive array of shops, bars and restaurants – over 100 in total which include leading brands such as Jo Malone, Kurt Geiger, Dixons, World Duty Free and Jamie Oliver. We want to encourage holidaymakers and business travellers alike to make the most of their time at the airport before they board their flight.”

Gerry Williams, Client Services Director at Publicis Chemistry, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Andy and his team at Gatwick. This is an exciting opportunity for us to be a true partner in delivering Gatwick’s ambitious plans to become London’s airport of choice.”
