Publicis UK’s ‘Team Renault’ has created an advertising campaign to support the launch of Renault-owned car marque Dacia, which will be unveiled today at Goodwood.
The activity will run across national newspapers, specialist car trade press and on local radio and aims to introduce the British public to the Dacia brand and the Dacia Duster SUV range, which people will be able to pre-order from today.
The campaign, under the UK marketing strapline “You do the maths”, challenges the perception of what a quality car can cost and reveals the amazingly priced Dacia range.
Dacia has been Europe’s fastest growing automotive brand for the last eight years. It will be available to buy in the UK from January 2013 and can be pre-ordered in showrooms and on the Dacia Store at www.dacia.co.uk from today. A total of 127 Dacia Retailers have been appointed across the UK.
The press activity runs both single and consecutive pages. The first page of the consecutives sets out the Dacia brand manifesto. It introduces the Dacia ethos of making cars that favour “function over frivolity” and that by making a simple range of cleverly designed, quality vehicles the customer only pays for what they need. The second page shows, simply and elegantly, an image of the Dacia Duster plus information on how to pre-order.
All actively is underpinned by the strapline “You do the maths”. Further activity will be rolled out later in the year and in January 2013.
